We are a visionary architectural design firm dedicated to creating warm, precise, and technical designs for residential and commercial projects. With a focus on lower and middle-class households, we specialize in residential architecture, commercial projects, and restoration. Our approach is rooted in attention to detail, restoration, and code-conscious practices, ensuring human-centered designs that respect heritage and context.

Process
PERI Studio guides each project with care—from the first conversation to the final walk-through. Here’s what you can expect when working with us:
Step One:
Pre-Design, and Preparation
We start by listening. This phase is about understanding your goals, lifestyle, site conditions, and vision for the project. We gather information, review zoning/code requirements, and help assemble the right team if needed.
Step Two:
Concept Design
We explore early ideas that reflect your aspirations—through sketches, diagrams, and 3D studies. This is where the design begins to take shape and we collaborate closely to establish a shared vision.
Step Three:
Design Development
Your design evolves with greater clarity and detail. We refine layout, materials, and structure, integrating both architectural and interior elements into a cohesive whole. The goal is to align beauty, function, and budget.
Step Four:
Technical Design
We prepare detailed drawings and specifications that guide the construction process. These documents ensure that your builder clearly understands the design intent and quality standards.
Step Five:
Construction Administration
As construction begins, we stay involved—reviewing progress, answering questions, and visiting the site to make sure the design is executed with integrity. We’re here to advocate for your vision every step of the way.
Step Six:
Project Close-Out
As the project wraps up, we help coordinate final inspections and ensure everything is completed to your satisfaction. Our goal is a seamless transition into your new space—crafted with care, precision, and purpose.
Team
Henry Zazueta
In 2025, Henry Zazueta founded PERI Studio, a Southern California–based design practice rooted in detail, integrity, and timeless design solutions. With over 25 years of experience, he has contributed to a wide range of residential, commercial, and restoration projects—including work on architecturally significant homes by Luis Barragán, Richard Neutra, and Rex Lotery.
His expertise spans every stage of the design process, from concept through construction, guided by a thoughtful, hands-on approach that emphasizes collaboration and contextual sensitivity.
Prior to founding PERI Studio, Henry spent 15 years as an Architectural Project Manager at Studio Tim Campbell, leading efforts in documentation, permitting, consultant coordination, and construction administration. Earlier in his career, he built a strong technical foundation as a CADD Production Resource, gaining deep expertise in drafting, building codes, and project detailing.
At PERI Studio, Henry leads with a solutions-driven mindset and a commitment to clear communication. His work reflects a deep respect for place, architecture, and the people who inhabit it—delivering thoughtful, lasting design grounded in both creativity and precision.
